At the RUSSIA EXPO, VEB.RF's educational project "City to Upgrade" held a lecture for schoolchildren on safe riding on bicycles and scooters.

The children were told about important issues in preparation for the spring and summer season, when bicycles and scooters become especially popular among Russians. Lecturers revealed what will help to prevent accidents and injuries, gave practical advice on how to behave on the road in different situations.

The lesson for the children was conducted by Sergei Khrantsevich, Acting Deputy Head of the Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and Valentina Kulbitskaya, Head of the Young Traffic Inspectors public organization.

The partners of VEB's project "City to Upgrade" were Movement of the First, VK and Prosveshchenie Group of Companies. The main objective is to involve young people in work on improving the quality of life in cities.
