Slavic Round Dance and modern enterprises: Day of the Bryansk Region at the RUSSIA EXPO
On the Day
of the Bryansk Region at the RUSSIA EXPO, the region presented its key
achievements and a cultural program - so that visitors could further immerse
themselves in the atmosphere of the region.
One of the
key aspects of regional economic development - Bryansk Machine Building Plant
is one of the most modern diesel locomotive building enterprises not only in
our country, but also in the world.
The share
of mainline freight locomotives of Bryansk origin makes up 100% of the Russian
market. Besides, this enterprise is the only one in the country that produces
mainline freight diesel locomotives, which are highly demanded for freight
transportation.
"You
are our pride, Bryansk region! This is the motto of our exposition, and today's
Day of the Bryansk Region will be held under this slogan. After all, as our
President said: "We are proud of the great generation of victors. We are
proud of Russia - self-sufficient, strong, open, a country where people of
great deeds and outstanding achievements, brave, purposeful, talented, devoted
to the Motherland and their work are respected and appreciated", - said Alexander Bogomaz, Governor of the
Bryansk region.
The Bryansk region is the only region of our country located at the junction of three Slavic states - Russia, Belorussia and Ukraine, so its culture is distinguished by its special flavor and wholeness.
The guests of the exposition could visit the large-scale Slavic Round Dance, during which the region's creative teams unfolded a 56-meter-long rushnik towel from the arch of the main entrance of the VDNH to Pavilion No. 75. In addition, those wishing to experience the atmosphere of the region were invited to a culinary masterclass, where performances of the folk folklore stylized ensemble Vyazanka (Sheaf) and a narration about the main dishes of the region were scheduled.
The final panel pitching session for the "Investments in Connectivity" track took place on 29 April at the National Centre RUSSIA.
On the second day of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" the most remarkable essays submitted by authors in each track were presented.
The topic "Investments in Human Capital" attracted the largest number of essays from around the world, becoming one of the most in-demand themes within the framework of the Open Dialogue.
