Smolensk Governor Vasily Anokhin invited to International RUSSIA EXPO
Vasily Anokhin, the Governor of the Smolensk region, has told how his region will surprise guests at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
The stand of the Smolensk region has prepared a lot of interesting things for visitors. For example, it will be possible to go into space with Yuri Gagarin thanks to virtual reality technologies. History lovers will be able to unravel the secrets of the Smolensk fortress wall or study the life of ancient settlements, and the most curious visitors will be able to try their hand at spinning linen.
«Our country is huge and very diverse. You can see it all, as well as the Smolensk region as the western outpost of our country at the largest exposition of the century», — said Vasily Anokhin.
It will be possible to learn more about the Smolensk region and other regions of the country, as well as to get acquainted with the most important Russian achievements of our time on November 4 — the Day of National Unity.
The International RUSSIA EXPO will be held in Moscow at the VDNH territory from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. Each region of the Russian Federation will present its stand, where it will introduce visitors to the key achievements in various industries. Federal authorities, representatives of large corporations, public associations and foreign countries will also take part in the exposition.
The National Centre RUSSIA hosted the opening ceremony of the exposition "Geography Lessons".
The National Centre RUSSIA invites everyone across the country to come together in a khorovod (traditional circle dance).
From 27 to 29 April, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the main international event of the spring — the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World.
