Watch the first episode of the Open Dialogue podcast "OD on Air"
The first episode of the podcast "Open Dialogue on Air" is now available on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA, Rrussia.ru, as well as on major video platforms. The discussion brought together the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia, Maxim Oreshkin, and the co-founder and Rector of Future Readiness Academy, visiting professor at the SKOLKOVO School of Management, Dr. Selina Neri. They explored how the global labour system is changing under the influence of technology and artificial intelligence, increasing life expectancy, and the search for meaning in work.
One of the key topics of the podcast was transformation in the labour market — from full-time employment to portfolio careers and personal projects. Maxim Oreshkin and Selina Neri discussed the use of artificial intelligence in education and professional life. The central question was how to ensure that neural networks enhance human potential rather than replace it.
The speakers addressed a range of issues, including:
— What "future readiness" means for individuals and companies;
— How career paths and expectations of young professionals have been reshaped;
— The role of lifelong education in today’s world.
"Future readiness is an acquired skill, like leadership or innovation. It allows people to thrive in the new world of work, because we begin to look not only at competencies, but also at motivation, impact, curiosity and the ability to ask the right questions," Selina Neri noted.
The podcast is available to watch in both English and Russian.
