Everyone can build and drive their own Ivolga train at the RUSSIA EXPO

Everyone can build and drive their own Ivolga train at the RUSSIA EXPO
11.09.2023

Ivolga 3.0 is one of the symbols of Tver. It is the first electric train of this level and class, completely assembled from domestic parts by the Tver Carriage Works. The guests of the Tver stand can feel themselves as a designer of a Russian electric train, though in a virtual mode. But then you climb into a real cabin and become a driver of a modern domestic electric train, choose a route and set off.

"Of course, the trip itself will be virtual, but the control is absolutely the same as on the real Ivolga train. Every button, every lever is identical. This driver’s car was specially made for the exposition at the same factory where the Ivolga 3.0 is produced", — explained Anastasia Shmagina, a representative of the Tver region.

There is no shortage of people willing to try on the profession of a driver. You can drive the train regardless of age or gender.

"Of course, the volunteers advised what to do, but still it was quite easy and very interesting. Now I wonder if I could have done it as dashingly in real life. Or maybe I should have chosen another profession", — Anna Kolke, a visitor of the Tver stand, shared her impressions.

There are several other attractions at the stand, such as virtual bicycle ride or forklift control. Those who have passed all the activities can participate in a raffle for vacation vouchers to the best hotels in the region.
