Cooperation between Russia and India: new document signed at the RUSSIA EXPO
Trade, investment, energy, food, industrial cooperation - these and other issues were discussed at a meeting between Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
"In recent years, despite the challenges faced by our countries, trade and economic ties have been developing rapidly. There is no doubt that the Russian-Indian trade turnover at the end of this year will cross the landmark milestone of $50 billion and will set a new historic maximum", — Denis Manturov noted.
As a result of the negotiations, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor) and the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization of India.
Before the meeting, Denis Manturov and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar visited the Made by Us pavilion of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Indian guests were shown Russian industrial achievements and the latest digital solutions developed by Russian engineers. The delegation also toured the display exposition of the ATOM pavilion, which is dedicated to the history of development of the Russian nuclear industry.
The integration of special military operation veterans into peaceful life and the interaction between regions and municipalities were discussed as part of the Forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA".
The second All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia" is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
