Save the date: opening dates for new locations at the National Centre RUSSIA
The opening dates for new expositions and spaces at the National Centre RUSSIA in March are already known. Only a few days remain before the start of the large-scale expositions.
Starting from March 1, the architectural exposition "The Birth of Scale," dedicated to Russian architecture and urban planning, will be available to visitors. This is a comprehensive look at Russian architecture through the centuries. The exposition features the most outstanding projects and models of architectural structures by Russian architects, giving an insight into the scale, ideas, and vision that accompanied the development of the vast territory of the largest country in the world. Visitors will see vivid examples of Russian wooden architecture, avant-garde, constructivism, and Soviet modernism. Additionally, the exposition will introduce the work of architects, showcasing how the workplaces of architects from all eras were organized. A special section of the exposition will focus on the future, with children's creative studios, student workshops, and works by young architects. The connection between art and architecture will be presented through an exposition of contemporary artists' works.
In addition, the gastronomic space "Journey Across Russia. Food" will open its doors to guests. It will be divided into four zones: "East," "North," "West," and "South." Guests of the National Centre RUSSIA will be able to try dishes from Russia's multinational cuisine, from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad — both widely known and unusual ones.
Also, starting from March 1, the updated Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA will open for guests. The space will immerse visitors in a spring atmosphere, and shopping will become more convenient due to the expanded area. The range of products in the Department Store will be expanded in the spring season, with 170 local brands from 70 regions of Russia.
From March 5, visitors will be able to enjoy the large-scale exposition "Journey Across Russia." Guests will see the natural landmarks and economic achievements of the federal districts of our country. The exposition will feature video content, infographics, decorations, photo zones, and VR technologies will provide an immersive experience — a true journey across Russia. Visits to the "Journey Across Russia" exposition will be organized in guided groups, and all details about registration for the excursions are available on the website.
