16 weddings of nuclear industry employees at once took place at the RUSSIA EXPO on February 20
On February 20, 16 couples of nuclear industry employees
from ten cities of our country got married at the RUSSIA EXPO.
Among the
newlyweds were representatives of atomic cities: Snezhinsk, Udomlya,
Desnogorsk, Trekhgorny, Novouralsk and Krasnokamensk. The ceremony was also
attended by newlyweds who are building the Akkuyu NPP in Turkey together. The
marriages were registered in the ATOM Pavilion.
The
newlyweds were congratulated by Andrei Petrov, First Deputy Director General
for Nuclear Power Engineering of Rosatom State Corporation, and Vladimir
Verkhovtsev, Director General of JSC Atomredmetzoloto. They called the
ceremony a historic event and thanked the couples for deciding to get married
specifically in the ATOM Pavilion.
"A
truly historic event took place - 16 nuclear families were born. We know
that our pavilion is one of the most visited. But 16 families were born at once
- this has never happened before. You have made a wonderful decision to
celebrate the most significant day of your life here. What can better represent
the future than the birth of a new family? I congratulate you all
sincerely," said Andrei Petrov.
"Have
you ever attended a wedding ceremony of 16 atomic couples at once? Remember
this day. You will never see such a thing again," added Vladimir
Verkhovtsev.
Deputy
Director General of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization «Directorate of the
Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» Anastasia Zvyagina joined the
congratulations.
"The Exposition has been going on for several months now. We have had many weddings, but this is the first time such a ceremony has taken place - 16 couples became newlyweds at the same time. They demonstrate real "atomic" love. Today everything is favorable for your weddings: wonderful weather, blue sky. Such an atmosphere encourages it to last forever. Be happy! May you have children and mutual love!" noted Anastasia Zvyagina.
She passed
the flame of the All-Russian Family Hearth, which was lit at the Exposition on
January 23, to married couples as a symbol of the Year of the Family. It
was accepted by newlyweds Angelina Skokova and Ivan Gudkov.
"Russian
President Vladimir Putin recently announced the start of the Year of the Family
during his visit to our Exposition. The fire was brought to us from a
holy place, from Murom," added the Deputy Director General of the
Autonomous Non-Profit Organization «Directorate of the Exhibition of
Achievements "Russia"».
"Family
is first of all a reliable rear, support for each other in difficult moments,
care. Atom united us. I hope that the fire of the family hearth is with
us for life. We will tell this wonderful story to our children," Angelina
Skokova said. "Just like in the movies," Ivan Gudkov added.
"Love
comes once - and stays in the heart forever, filling life with bright colors. People
have been talking about love for centuries, writing poems and making movies. A
wonderful thing happened in your life - you met each other. The most sincere,
bright, sometimes unattainable feeling - love - was born in your hearts. Your
feelings are special. They have their own color palette. You paint your own
life - and it does not matter how you paint. What matters is the color of the
paint. When it rains in your life, look at the rainbow. When it's dark, look at
the stars. Yesterday is a history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift.
You don't know what will be tomorrow - you are happy today," Evgeniya
Kubaeva, the host of the solemn wedding ceremony, addressed the newlyweds
during the registration.
At the end
of the ceremony, the spouses were presented with an album with congratulations
and wishes from nuclear jubilarians who
also celebrated their golden and silver weddings at the ATOM Pavilion on
January 27.
"At the RUSSIA EXPO venues, the Moscow registry offices
have already officially registered the marriage of 38 couples. Today, for the
first time in our practice, one presenter held a solemn wedding ceremony and
registered the marriage of 16 couples at once. Previously we held simultaneous
marriage ceremonies for 30 couples in the cabins of the cable car, but each
couple was accompanied by a personal host of the ceremony. I would like to note
that we are always ready for new experiments and with pleasure and
responsibility we held the marriage ceremony in the ATOM Pavilion," said
Svetlana Ukhaneva, Head of the Department of Moscow Registry Office.
