SHUM as a phenomenon: partners and friends of the Youth Media Development Centre awarded at the National Centre RUSSIA
A ceremony was held at the National Centre RUSSIA to honour partners, employees and friends of the Youth Media Development Centre SHUM of Rosmolodezh. Participants reviewed the joint results achieved in 2025 through SHUM’s projects and initiatives supporting young media talents across the country.
Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) Grigory Gurov presented the agency’s departmental award to the Minister of Youth Policy of the Kaliningrad Region, Anna Musevich, and letters of appreciation to her deputy, Yevgenia Papakina. He also noted the outstanding contribution of Russia Today TV channel, the Argumenty i Facty publishing house, the Presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity" and the non-public joint-stock company "National Satellite Company" to the development of the young media professionals’ community and the implementation of SHUM’s programmes.
Regional ministries and youth committees also received honorary awards. Grigory Gurov extended special thanks to the Kaliningrad region team for implementing a federal-level project that has inspired other regions across Russia.
Letters of appreciation, honorary diplomas and departmental awards from the Governor of the Kaliningrad region were presented to the Chairman of the Movement of the First, Hero of Russia Artur Orlov, Adviser to the Head of Rosmolodezh Olga Kuznetsova, Rosmolodezh employees, Director General of the Youth Centre SHUM Tatyana Mandrykina, SHUM team members, Director of the Communications Department Project at the State Corporation Rosatom Denis Pleshchenko, and staff of the Ministry of Youth Policy of the Kaliningrad region.
"Thanks to everyone’s contribution, we have already accomplished great work that continues to inspire young people to achieve new goals and create meaningful content. Over the past year, SHUM has confirmed its status as one of the country’s key platforms for developing young media professionals. We have implemented major projects, launched educational programmes and organised events that united talented young people from across Russia," said Governor of the Kaliningrad Region Alexei Besprozvannykh.
The discussion will focus on how the role of civil society in election monitoring has evolved.
