The wedding of heroes took place at the RUSSIA EXPO
A grand
wedding ceremony of volunteer-participants of the Special Military Operation
took place at the RUSSIA EXPO. In front of numerous spectators,
anesthesiologist Yevgeny from Moscow and his beloved Yulia with the call sign
"Birch" - the bride is from the Samara region - were solemnly
declared husband and wife. The official marriage of Yulia and Yevgeny has
already been concluded in Volnovakha - in a military unit located in the DPR.
The country
came to know Yulia Bereza last year, when her name was heard during the direct
line with the President of the Russian Federation: the girl told the head of
state about the problems with the issuing of Russian standard certificates of
the participant of combat operations to fighters who enlisted in the DPR. At
the ceremony, the happy young spouse appeared in a military uniform and with a
veil. She admitted that the wedding at the Exposition was a big surprise for
her.
"I had
absolutely no idea what was waiting for us here: I thought we would walk
around, see the Exposition and that's all," Yulia admitted.
Evgeny, the
head of the young family, during the pandemic worked in the intensive care unit
of the Kommunarka MMCC. Now he is the chief medical officer of a military unit
near Donetsk, and has also mastered a new profession - UAV operator.
"Moscow
is my hometown, and VDNH is its cultural capital, and this Exposition, where we
are present, allows us to plunge into the culture of the whole country and
gives us additional strength and positive emotions. I liked, of course, the
copters, as it is my specialty, and, of course, the expositions of the
regions," Evgeny shared his impressions from visiting the Exposition.
The hosts
of the wedding were TV presenter Marina Kim and Merited Artist of Russia
Vyacheslav Manucharov. During the ceremony the Deputy Head of the Moscow Civil
Registry Office solemnly handed over to the young couple an icon-lamp with the
fire of the All-Russian Family Hearth "Heart of Russia": just a month
ago this touching symbol of love, fidelity and happy home was lit at the
Exposition so that every family could share its warmth with the whole country.
The young family of heroes will take a part of the fire with them to the front.
"The
fire at the Exposition was brought to us by the Terentyev family from the city
of Murom. They have been together for 25 years and are raising six children. We
wish you that your family will be as strong and happy, and that your children
will someday say to you: 'Mom, Dad, you are our most important heroes',"
the project manager of the Autonomous noncommercial organization «Directorate
of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» Yulia Stoyanova addressed
the young family.
The birth
of the new family made a great impression on the guest of honor of the holiday
- folk and pop singer, actress, TV and radio host, Merited Artist of Russia
Nadezhda Babkina:
"Many
people think that in our difficult times one should not have fun, be happy, but
should only stay focused. But when to live then? And you have to live every
day. That is why it was an amazing decision to start a family here and now, at
the RUSSIA EXPO. I believe that this is an absolutely clear, correct and
convincing decision. The decision of those people who have crazy willpower, who
are strong in spirit. The ones who dared to continue our true traditions. And
later, the kids might be born. Zhenya and Yulia are a worthy example to
follow".
Nadezhda
Babkina also presented the young family with a traditional loaf, thanks to
which the guests of Russian weddings have long recognized who will be the head
of the newly minted family. "Actually,
Yulia bit more. But if the husband will do everything in the house as the true
master, and as the wife says, then the family will be happy," commented
the star on the results of the traditional rite.
According
to tradition, the bride threw a bouquet - and the flower arrangement split into
six separate bouquets, which means that soon there will be six more happy
families in the country.
"Be
sure to support each other and everyone close to you, appreciate each other and
tell your loved ones more often how much you love them. After all, if it is
good for them, it will be good for you," Yulia advised the brides.
"Do not be afraid of anything, live with dignity, because you only live once. And remember that your family is always there for you, and that we are the biggest and strongest country. I thank the President for trusting us in this difficult time, and do not let him down, nor us, nor our country," in turn, wished Evgeny to the future husbands.
