Wedding concert, performance and lecture by Sofya Ernst: Tuesday at the Exposition
Gather your team and head out for a quiz, watch "Onegin
and Tatiana" student performance and learn about regional wedding
traditions at an exciting concert. On Tuesday, May 14, Exposition guests can
expect a lot of interesting and useful events.
Couples from the Siberian Federal District will get married
and present their wedding traditions at the Exposition. At 13:00 a mass wedding
procession of couples and creative groups of the SFD with a theatricalized
performance "Engagement" begins. At 13:45 the Main Street Stage will host the
marriage ceremony of couples from the Siberian Federal District and the
handover of the flame of the All-Russian Family Hearth "Heart of Russia". The
couples will take home a piece of the flame which was lit at the RUSSIA EXPO in
honor of the announcement of the Year of the Family. On this important day the
young people will also be congratulated by the authorized representative of the
SFD.

"REGION OF THE FUTURE" QUIZ 12+
Exposition guests are invited to take part in a quiz in the
Home of Youth. The event is dedicated to the Youth Educational Forum "Region of
the Future". Guests will learn interesting facts (true or false) about the
forum and the Lipetsk region. The number of participants is up to 10 teams of
10 people each.

The Main Street Stage will host a concert program with the
participation of creative teams of the Siberian Federal District. The ensemble
of Russian folk instruments "Siberian Patterns" from the Tomsk region will
perform for the audience, and the Irkutsk and Novosibirsk regions will perform
music and song compositions.
The Republic of Tuva will stage an excerpt from the
performance "Nomadic Wedding", which includes a demonstration of a traditional
wedding ceremony and the ritual "dugdeeshkin". Omsk region will be represented
by a duet of the Kazakh folk art studio "Amanat- Legacy". The Altai Republic
and the Altai region will also present their creative numbers.

LECTURE "SYNTHESIS OF FOLK TRADITIONS AND MODERN CULTURE" |SOFYA ERNST 6+
How to find a balance between authenticity and contemporary
relevance? Practice shows that the emphasis on clichés and direct copying of
traditions without attempts to rethink and actualize them does not resonate
with new generations. At the lecture, Sofya Ernst will share the story of the
creation of the project "Getting Married" and use it as an example to describe
her approach to synthesizing folk traditions and modern culture.

Students of the workshop of Merited Artist of the Russian
Federation Nikolai Skorik will present a performance based on Alexander
Pushkin's novel. The performance will bring the world of Pushkin's characters
to life, allowing the audience to enjoy the classic work in a new
interpretation.

TRADITIONAL SINGING MASTERCLASS. FIRST STEPS OF ENSEMBLESOUND 16+
Many people who want to learn to sing are also interested in
how to get "that very folk" sound. How to sing easily, comfortably, so that the
voice would be in its natural environment? These questions will be answered at
the lesson of Olga Sagalaeva, singer and teacher, a member of the creative
association "Pyotr Valentinovich".
You will get acquainted with the structure of the vocal
apparatus, learn how to warm it up and prepare it for the sound. Olga will help
participants to unite in a common voice and give an impetus to creativity.
Having mastered the basic skills of ensemble singing, you will be able to unite
with family and friends for joint music-making.
