Connecting the past with the present: Khakassia at the RUSSIA EXPO
Bionic
yurts, a virtual shaman and gastronomic diversity - all this was presented by
the Republic of Khakassia on the Day of the Region at the RUSSIA EXPO.
At the
exposition, the traditional dwellings of the Khakas people were presented in a
modern format to show the connection between the past and the present. In one
of the yurts guests can get their fortunes told by a virtual shaman, and in the
second one they can learn about the history of the region, its attractions and
mystical past.
Gastronomic
wealth of the region was presented to the guests of the exposition during the
performance Taste of Khakassia. Here the best chefs showed the process of cooking
Pothe porridge, Ugre soup, Koptigres pies with pine nuts, talgan candies,
Khakas lamb and many other dishes.
The
visitors to the exposition were also shown movies, including a short
psychological thriller Kham Arakh (Almost a Shaman). The audience was given the
opportunity to talk to the director of the film Mikhail Merzlikin and the
performer of the main role Amadu Mamadakov. And the Governor Valentin Konovalov
spoke about the achievements of the region in the spheres of construction,
housing and communal services, health care, education and agriculture.
"I would like to express my deep gratitude to all the organizers of the International RUSSIA EXPO for the fact that every region today has the opportunity to share its achievements, results of work, contribution to the development of our beloved Motherland", - said the head of the region.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is open from Tuesday through Sunday, Monday is a technical day. The best time to visit are mornings and weekdays, but the exposition is open to everyone on weekends as well. All expositions and events are free of charge.
The Foreign Minister
will speak at one of the key events of the Symposium - the panel discussion
"Future of Multipolar World."
The first event to be held at the Russia National Centre, which is being established by the order of President Vladimir Putin, will be the International Science Fiction Symposium and Exhibition "Inventing the Future". The symposium will take place from November 4 to 6.
Tomorrow, the International RUSSIA EXPO will conclude its work. From November 2023 to July 2024, it was visited by more than 18 million guests.
