Bionic yurts, a virtual shaman and gastronomic diversity - all this was presented by the Republic of Khakassia on the Day of the Region at the RUSSIA EXPO.

At the exposition, the traditional dwellings of the Khakas people were presented in a modern format to show the connection between the past and the present. In one of the yurts guests can get their fortunes told by a virtual shaman, and in the second one they can learn about the history of the region, its attractions and mystical past.

Gastronomic wealth of the region was presented to the guests of the exposition during the performance Taste of Khakassia. Here the best chefs showed the process of cooking Pothe porridge, Ugre soup, Koptigres pies with pine nuts, talgan candies, Khakas lamb and many other dishes.

The visitors to the exposition were also shown movies, including a short psychological thriller Kham Arakh (Almost a Shaman). The audience was given the opportunity to talk to the director of the film Mikhail Merzlikin and the performer of the main role Amadu Mamadakov. And the Governor Valentin Konovalov spoke about the achievements of the region in the spheres of construction, housing and communal services, health care, education and agriculture.

"I would like to express my deep gratitude to all the organizers of the International RUSSIA EXPO for the fact that every region today has the opportunity to share its achievements, results of work, contribution to the development of our beloved Motherland", - said the head of the region.
