The Tambov region celebrates the 88th anniversary of its foundation
On 27 September, the Tambov region marks 88 years since its
foundation. On this day in 1937, the region began its independent development
as part of Russia. The National Centre RUSSIA congratulates the residents of
the Tambov region on Region Day.
"Our
region has a rich history and culture. They are inseparably connected
with the names of Derzhavin and Plevako, Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky, Vernadsky
and Saints Pitirim and Luka, as well as many other outstanding Russians,"
said the Head of the Tambov region, Yevgeny Pervyshov.
According
to him, the economy and social sphere of the region are developing at a rapid
pace. The aim of this work is to make the Tambov region even more
comfortable for local residents and more attractive to tourists from all over
Russia.
"Today
we are actively developing the economy and the social sphere so that our
region, with its powerful historical and cultural code, becomes even more
comfortable to live in. Thanks to large-scale projects, such as the
International Music Festival named after S. V. Rachmaninoff, Tambov is being
discovered by art lovers and tourists from across the country. I invite all
residents of Russia to visit our region!" added Yevgeny Pervyshov.
The unique legacy and
modern achievements of Tambov can also be discovered in Moscow. The
"Journey Across Russia" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA
features all the regions of the Central Federal District, including the Tambov
region.
The visit of the Belarusian delegation to the National Centre RUSSIA was aimed at strengthening friendly and partnership relations between the two countries.
The National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region hosted a panel discussion on the results of the 2025 summer tourist season.
About 40 projects worth more than 80 billion roubles are being implemented in the Amur region under master plans.
