A dance tournament was held at the RUSSIA EXPO on June 7. It was attended by more than 50 dancers from the art school of choreography, which was organized as part of the educational session of the Tavrida Art Cluster.

Dancers from different regions of Russia gathered in Moscow. Applications for participation in the event were selected by professionals, said the chief choreographer-director of the Tavrida Art Cluster and dance studio “Marta” Marta Avgustinovich.

Usually we have a competition - about eight people per place. Therefore, the best come here, and we give them the opportunity to realize themselves. The art school is not only for professionals - the guys who have just started to study also take part in it. Here they can learn from the best teachers in Russia,” said Marta Avgustinovich.

The participants of the tournament represented different dance directions - the jury members selected the eight best of them after the demonstration performances.

The competition was part of the “Tavrida.ART - Only in Russia” session, which opened a new educational season of the Tavrida Art Cluster. Its theme is the promotion of young artists and the development of dance art. It features art schools of choreography, contemporary music, theater and puppets, street theater and street art. This is the first time that the session is not held on the territory of the Tavrida Art Cluster in Crimea. At the Exposition, it will last until June 8.
