The Bereg (Shore) Youth Educational Forum was presented at the RUSSIA EXPO. It is held near water basins in Karelia. Visitors were told about the features of the format of the forum in 2024.

One of them will be information detox - an internet-free zone of live communication will allow a more productive approach to the educational program.

"Whoever says that youth is our future is wrong. Youth is our present, which has already come and is here and now. The Bereg Forum brings together young people who are not indifferent to the fate of their native land, they are active, creative, knowledge-seeking young people who have the power to change the world around them for the better. In 2023, representatives of the regions of the Northwestern Federal District, Lugansk People's Republic and Zaporozhye region joined the forum", - said Larisa Podsadnik, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Karelia on social issues.

The forum itself was created on the initiative of the head of the Republic of Karelia in 2022. The theme of the forum in 2023 was the increase of regional attractiveness through the development of creative industries.
