Technologies and delicacies: the surprises of the Perm region
Interuniversity campus, modern technologies and delicious treats. The Day of the Perm region was held at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
The region spoke about its key achievements over the past six years and the projects to be implemented in the coming years. For example, one important initiative is the creation of an international interuniversity campus. It already unites eight Perm universities, as well as several scientific centers.
"On the instructions of the President, we are implementing the construction of the international campus. Thanks to the President's support, funds are allocated for the improvement of public spaces. All this is being done so that young people in the Perm region could find points of connection for their development and so that they could feel successful here", — stressed Governor Dmitry Makhonin.Robotics is being developed in the region. One of the main "heroes" of the day was Ardi, a robot that can sing. He performed the song "Beloved Perm". Representatives of the region delivered presentations on the opening of the music boarding school and the International Diaghilev Festival.
An immersive performance "Look at the Present", a performance about the Perm ballet and much more were also prepared for the guests of the exposition. The Perm region treated visitors to honey, nuts, handmade gingerbread, freeze-dried berries and other delicacies.
The "Geography Lessons" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA is drawing to a close.
The lecture concluded the series of educational meetings held as part of the "Exploring Russia" project.
President of the UNESCO General Conference, Khondker Mohammad Talha, visited the National Centre RUSSIA and toured the “Journey Across Russia” exposition.
