Technoparks, business incubator, machine tool cluster and IT: Penza Region at Russia Expo
A unique machine tool cluster, business incubators, an IT park and a complex for the production of oyster mushrooms.
Penza region at the RUSSIA EXPO shared its achievements and talked about its development plans.
For example, in December 2021, the region created a machine-tool cluster PenzaStankoMash - the first one in Russia. It is already among the top three in terms of the volume of products that are used in our country and exported.
Seven business incubators, an IT park, Yablochkov Technopark, Master Industrial Technopark and Soyuz Industrial Technopark have been created in the region. Also, in the Penza region they intend to build an oil extraction plant and a mushroom complex for growing oyster mushrooms. The latter will work in partnership with a large enterprise from China.
"For more than 10 years the Penza region remains one of the leaders in the Volga Federal District in terms of industrial production (the industrial production index in the Penza region this year is 115.3%, while the average figure for Russia is 103.3%). We demonstrate such successes thanks to the achievements in mechanical engineering, radio electronics, pulp and paper and furniture industries, as well as due to the high scientific and human resources potential", — said Governor Oleg Melnichenko.
On the Day of the Penza Region there was a two-hour concert Preserving the Past - Creating the Future. And in the zone of cultural projects in Pavilion No. 75 the guests saw the evening concert Cultural Code 58 with patriotic performances.
Dmitry Chernyshenko outlined a number of key challenges being addressed by the Government of Russia.

From 27 to 29 April, the II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
