Technoparks as an engine of development — youth entrepreneurship discussed at the RUSSIA EXPO
The round table "Technoparks as an Engine of Youth
Entrepreneurship Development in the Union State", timed to coincide with
the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus, was held at the RUSSIA
EXPO. The participants of the round table discussed the problems of technoparks
operation in the two countries, as well as exchanged ideas on the development
of the industry.
Governor of the Omsk region Vitaly Khotsenko emphasized the
relevance of such events.
"The Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus
symbolizes friendship and cooperation between our countries. It is important to
note that the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus pay special
attention to the development of youth entrepreneurship. We strive to create
favorable conditions for young people to start and run a business, help them
get the necessary knowledge and skills. Today's event will become a platform
for sharing experience and ideas, and will help find new ways to address
pressing issues," said Vitaly Khotsenko.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic
of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoy drew attention to the fact that the Republic
has a successful experience in the development of technoparks.
"Take the High Technology Park as an example. You know
that Viber, World of Tanks, Zombie Farm and our other world-class products
actually originated from small rooms and offices. Today, this sector accounts
for around a quarter of the Republic's industrial production and exports. A
multiple growth has been noted in recent years. And now, given the volume of
the Russian market, we realize that completely new opportunities are opening up
for Belarusians," added Dmitry Krutoy.
He is convinced that the level of relations between Russia
and Belarus has seriously increased.
"I want to thank the government of the Omsk region for
organizing this event and congratulate the participants of the round table on
the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus. I have been dealing with
Russian issues since 2014, but today is the first time when I received such a
number of congratulations from Russians — it shows that the level of our
relations has seriously grown. We need to make very active use of the historic
window of opportunity that is opening before us. Two months ago, our Presidents
launched the next cycle of our integration by approving the main directions in
various sectors until 2026. The work with youth was particularly criticized
during the discussion of the package of documents — there is little work with young
people, it's not enough, and we do not involve them in the processes of union
building. We were instructed to fix it, and such events as today's help to
correct the shortcomings," said Dmitry Krutoy.
During the event an agreement was also signed between the
Mogilev regional committee of the public association "Belarusian
Republican Youth Union" and the Youth Council at the representation of the
Omsk region. The document was signed by the first secretary of the Mogilev
regional committee of the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth
Union" Alexander Saxonov and the chairman of the Youth Council at the
representation of the Omsk region under the Government of the Russian
Federation Ksenia Sanovich.
The event
is organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and
the Arctic, with support from Norilsk Nickel PJSC and the Rosatom State
Corporation.
"Aldan"
is a dramatic film based on true events.
