"Transformation of the World: A View from Russia": scientific seminar at the National Centre RUSSIA
On May 27, as part of the 13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues, a scientific seminar on global security titled "Transformation of the World: A View from Russia" was held at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The seminar was moderated by Alexander Vladimirovich Yakovenko, Head of the Committee on Global Issues and International Security of the Scientific and Expert Council of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and Deputy Director General of the media group Rossiya Segodnya.
The seminar was attended by leading representatives of the Russian academic community:
— Alexei Sergeyevich Bobrovsky, Director of the Institute for the Study of Global Markets, economic observer;
— Viktoria Yuryevna Zhuravleva, Deputy Director General of IMEMO, Head of the Centre for North American Studies;
— Alexei Alexandrovich Maslov, Director of the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University;
— Rodion Valeryevich Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia for issues related to crimes committed by the Kiev regime;
— Yelena Vladimirovna Panina, Director of the Institute for International Political and Economic Strategies – RUSSTRAT;
— Ilya Igorevich Rogachev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cooperation in Criminal Justice.
The participants discussed the geopolitical shift and its consequences for the global trade, economic and monetary-financial architecture, the resolution of the historical conflict between Russia and the West and its implications.
The discussion covered the growing regionalisation of global politics and world development, including the increasing importance of national territory and control over resources. Strategic stability in the new environment was also addressed, as well as the emergence of a new technological paradigm, including the use of artificial intelligence.
Attention was paid to key aspects of the ongoing global transformation processes, such as the formation of a Eurasian security system, the transformation of the global economy, domestic processes in the United States, changes in Asia and Africa, the neo-Nazi nature of the Kiev regime, strategic stability amid geopolitical shifts, and countering the politicisation of international cooperation in criminal justice.

Starting tomorrow, July 29, due to renovation work in pavilions No. 3, 4, 7 and at the Western entrance of pavilion No. 7, the access scheme to the National Centre RUSSIA will be temporarily changed.
The Vladivostok branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will serve not just as an exposition venue, but as a vivid reflection of Primorye’s dynamic progress.
