01.24.2024
On January 25, the Sport for Everyone pavilion will host the Russian Roller Sports Federation. Visitors will be able to learn that the roller skating has its own figure skating, hockey and other disciplines available for anyone to master.
The program will start at 10 o'clock, and at 11 o'clock already there will be two quizzes for children and adults, where they will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of roller sports and win prizes. The raffles will be held by Russian champions Alyona Efimova and Anna Kukushkina.
Immediately after the quizzes there will be a workshop on preparation and maintenance of roller blades from coaches Ruslan Shilov and Sergey Tomilin. These skills will be useful not only for athletes, but also for those who like to skate in summer.
From 13:00 presentations of individual disciplines will begin. They will be opened by figure skating, which will be presented by Anna Semisynova, champion of Russia, Europe and the world. She will not only show special exercises, but also will gladly interact with the audience.
Next on the program there will be speedskating, freestyle (Alyona Efimova and Anna Kukushkina will take the stage again), as well as "hockey" and an intriguing "scooter", where participants will challenge each other to do tricks and perform them until there is only one winner.
At the end of the day, the Federation will talk about future plans and present those disciplines that are just getting ready to be recognized.
