The Tula region showcased its investment potential at the exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future"
On 16 September, as part of Tula Region Days at the exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future" in the National Centre RUSSIA, the investment potential of the region was presented.
Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Tula Region, Pavel Tatarenko, introduced the Regional Investment Standard. This is a new system for supporting and guiding investment projects, developed by the Government of the Tula region together with federal authorities and business associations.
The aim of the investment standard is to shorten the path from an investor’s idea to actual capital investment. The five elements of the standard are designed to provide regions with basic tools for attracting business and removing common barriers faced by entrepreneurs.
The Tula region ranks:
3rd in the Central Federal District for the effectiveness of implementing the Regional Export Standard 2.0;
4th in the Central Federal District for the volume of investments.
Sergei Kiryukhin, Director General of the Regional Development and Support Corporation of the Tula region, noted that JSC KRTO currently oversees about 130 agreements worth over 500 billion roubles.
The Tula region has developed a network of preferential business territories:
Special Economic Zone PPT "Uzlovaya";
Industrial Park "Uzlovaya";
Territory of Advanced Development "Aleksin";
Territory of Advanced Development "Yefremov".
Each of these sites has its own unique investment profile and competitive advantages. Regional legislation provides investors with a wide range of support measures.

From 2016 to 2024, these measures made it possible to implement more than 115 projects. The actual volume of investments amounted to more than 325 billion roubles, and 21,000 new jobs were created.
Over the past nine years, investment in the region’s economy has more than doubled, reaching an impressive figure of over 270 billion roubles in 2024.
Several agreements were signed that day. For example, the Regional Centre "My Business" and PSB Bank signed an agreement aimed at social support for participants of the special military operation, combat veterans, military pensioners and their families.
