Convenience for an individual and efficiency of the state: achievements of the domestic digital economy were discussed at the RUSSIA EXPO
As part of
the National Achievements Forum, the Digital Economy Day is being held at the
RUSSIA EXPO on February 6. The main event of the business program was a plenary
session dedicated to the main achievements of this industry.
The event
was attended by Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Maksut
Shadaev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, Andrey
Vorobyev, Governor of the Moscow region, Dmitry Ugnivenko, Deputy Minister of
Digital Development, as well as Sergey Tsvetkov, Oleg Kachanov, Alexander
Shoitov, Sergey Kuchushev, Evgeny Filatov and other heads of leading Russian IT
companies and business representatives.
Dmitry
Chernyshenko noted the high importance of information and communication technologies
in the life of modern people, as well as the active development of the
IT-industry in Russia.
"Today,
110 million people already have confirmed accounts and actively use the
Gosuslugi (State Services) portal. Over 340 million services were provided on
it last year. The daily audience of the portal in 2023 exceeded 11 million
people. Our ICT industry is undergoing a new technological breakthrough. We are
seeing traffic growth of 30-50% annually, and hybrid networks are increasingly
being introduced. Russian IT solutions are actively developing. 19.8 thousand
software products and databases are listed in the register of domestic
software," said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The plenary
session summarized the results of the implementation of the national project
"Digital Economy", discussed initiatives to implement the national
project "Data Economy", which will start in 2025.
"The
national program "Digital Economy" is a big, large-scale, ambitious
project. It has been implemented since 2019 with the participation of more than
50 federal agencies and all regions of the country, and by these indicators we
are breaking all records. The program is in effect until the end of the year,
but right now we are ready to summarize the main results and formulate the
tasks for the next period," said Maksut Shadaev.
Andrey
Vorobyov drew attention to the main goal of digital interaction.
"There
should not be digitalization for the sake of digitalization. Therefore, for us,
the goals of digital transformation are convenience for an individual and
efficiency of the state. We aim to have fewer visits to the MFC every year. And
the number of face-to-face applications is gradually decreasing. If in 2021
there were 15.2 million of them, in 2023 it was already 12.3 million. This was
achieved thanks to the digitalization of services. The number of requests for
online services is gradually increasing - from 25.4 million in 2021 to 30.2
million in 2023. There are more than 30 projects with artificial intelligence
technologies in the Moscow region. The economic effect of AI implementation in
three years is about 1.6 billion rubles," said Andrey Vorobyov.
The session
also addressed such issues as the development of human resources potential in
the domestic IT industry, government support for the transition to digital
interaction between citizens, business and government, IT security and others.
The integration of special military operation veterans into peaceful life and the interaction between regions and municipalities were discussed as part of the Forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA".
The second All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia" is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
