Ugodsky grated kalach, goat cheese pie and rassolnik soup with goose — masterclasses and tastings on January 12
The guests of the House of Russian Cuisine at VDNH will be offered to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of an old Russian hut of 1722. Storytellers will tell the history of the birth of Ugodsky grated kalach. The author of the project will share the recipe and tell the nuances of cooking the original Russian treat. And of course he will offer the audience to taste the real kalach under the melodious chants of the folklore group.

Production of unique dairy products from milk of Jersey cows has been established in the Kaluga region. Jersey cattle breed has a special value: milk is easily digestible, does not cause gastrointestinal problems, is suitable even for people with protein intolerance, contains 25% more calcium and 10-12% more phosphorus than milk from cows of other breeds.
Visitors of the House of Russian Cuisine will have a rare chance to learn how to distinguish organic products from ordinary ones, and of course — to taste the best farm products.

Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
