"Avtodor Smart Holidays" at the National Centre RUSSIA
On 17
March, children of employees of the Avtodor State Company visited the National
Centre RUSSIA. As part of the career guidance programme "Avtodor Smart
Holidays", they attended the exposition "Journey Across Russia",
where they explored the history, culture, traditions, landmarks, and
achievements of all federal districts of the country.
"The
exposition is wonderful. After the tour, I really want to visit Dagestan and
the Caucasus. However, every district and region is beautiful and unique in its
own way, so I would like to travel everywhere, learn more about each region,
and return again and again," shared Nikita Alkin after the tour.
The young
visitors noted that the exposition impressed them both with its scale and with
its attention to detail. The interactive zones were a particular highlight,
allowing visitors to fully experience a journey across the country, remembering
not just facts but also sounds, scents, and atmosphere.
"What
I liked most at the exposition were the interactive elements, which really help
you immerse yourself in what we are being told. I was especially impressed by
the interactive feature where you had to match animal paw prints and then find
out which animal it was," said Denis Kazakov.
As part of
the "Avtodor Smart Holidays" career guidance programme, children of
the company’s employees — school students in Years 7–11 — visit leading
universities, museums, and exhibition venues in the capital each year. There,
they learn about the development of the road construction sector and key
historical events, and explore opportunities for their future professional
development.
The
"Journey Across Russia" exposition is open at the National Centre
RUSSIA on a permanent basis every day except Monday, from 10:00 to 20:00.
Admission is free as part of guided tour groups formed through advance
registration on the website russia.ru. Visitors can also join a group without
registration on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
The tour guides spoke about the history of the region's development, its natural resources, and its modern achievements.
