Unique family centres are one of the main achievements of the Moscow region

Unique family centres are one of the main achievements of the Moscow region
10.06.2023

The Moscow region presented 11 projects on the "Achievements.RF" portal. Now the leading positions are taken by "Metrowagonmash" JSC and the "New Jerusalem" Museum.

But there is another very important initiative among the region’s projects — a program of family centres. Thanks to this program, children left without parents are placed in institutions where they live on the family principle until they move to a foster family. Children usually spend no more than a couple of months in the centres. And thanks to the support of carers and teachers, the children pass the adaptation period in the new family quite easily.

According to the last year results, 98% of all children left without parental care found families. You can support this project on the "Achievements.RF" portal. There you can also learn about the successes of other regions and the main achievements of the country.

As a reminder, the "Achievements.RF" portal was launched in preparation for the International RUSSIA EXPO, where all 89 regions, federal authorities, major corporations and public organisations will showcase their achievements.
