Unique concert of the Moscow Metro Choir on February 20
The
Academic Choir of the Moscow Metro will perform at the RUSSIA EXPO on February
20.
This is a
unique creative team, the first and only choir in the world in the system of
underground transport. The performance will start at 18:00. The admission is
free of charge for all comers.
Today the choir includes representatives of various subway departments. These are train drivers and their assistants, security and escalator service employees, restorers, station duty officers, radiographers, accountants and cashiers, fire safety instructors and many others.
The Moscow space offers residents and guests of the capital to get acquainted with the art of daily companions of urban life.
The qualities that set heroes of Russian cinema apart from Western ones lie in their role as carriers of meaning and traditional values.
The event formed part of the scientific and business programme of the National Film Award Forum "Heroes of a Great Country".
Dr Parag Khanna shared his personal experience and observations with Maxim Oreshkin and spoke about the importance of integration and cooperation between different regions and peoples.
