Department Store RUSSIA to showcase the richness of culture and brands at the trade fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia"
From 20 to 22 April 2026, the International Industrial Trade Fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia" will take place in Tashkent. For the first time, the National Centre RUSSIA will participate in an international event abroad, presenting one of its flagship projects — the Department Store RUSSIA. The stand of the Centre will feature products from domestic manufacturers representing various regions of the country, offering international visitors an opportunity to discover the diversity of Russian brands and goods.
The Department Store exposition will be dedicated to the image of the merchant class — a symbolic interweaving of cultures and peoples. Decorative elements of the stand — window shutters, a tiled roof, regional patterns, beads and natural materials — will convey the richness and vast cultural heritage of Russia’s regions. Ornaments and decorative compositions will also highlight the shared cultural elements of Russia and Uzbekistan.
Exclusively for the trade fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia", the Department Store will present a special collection of traditional roly-poly dolls. The colour schemes and ornamental designs are inspired by traditional Uzbek costume. The collection will symbolise the unity of Russian and Uzbek cultures, the continuity of generations, and respect for tradition.
Sweets, beverages and other products
The stand will offer sugar-free crispy apple pastila from the Kaluga Region; chaga tea from the Vologda Region; and a range of chocolate with sea salt, cayenne pepper and salted almonds, as well as varieties with ginger and honey granules from the Primorye Territory, and white chocolate made with kumis from the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Also there will be offered sugar-free fruit and berry pastila from the Samara Region, classic chocolate and toffee from the Ulyanovsk Region, and corn snacks from the Lugansk People’s Republic. From the Tula Region, visitors will find Belyov pastila custard and gingerbread.
Guests will be able to immerse themselves in a northern atmosphere thanks to collections of chocolate bars featuring sea salt, northern berries, matcha green tea, Arctic kelp, cloudberries and reindeer lichen, complemented by jams, sauces and syrups made from berries of the Murmansk Region.
The stand will also feature sweets and bars with pine nuts and strawberries, along with a collection of shaped chocolate from the Republic of Altai, handmade candied cranberries from the Pskov Region, fruit jelly made from wild berries and herbs from the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra, marzipan sweets containing more than 50 percent almonds from the Kaliningrad Region, and candied pine cones from the Tomsk Region. The Vladimir Region will be represented by Pokrov gingerbread with boiled condensed milk and walnuts.
Tea enthusiasts will find signature blends from the Moscow Region, combining tea traditions from across Russia, as well as hand-harvested herbal teas from Khakassia, developed with the participation of biologists and pharmacists.
Textiles and accessories
The textile line will include designer shawls and scarves from the Sverdlovsk Region featuring prints inspired by Russia’s cultural code, traditional Pavlovsky Posad shawls from the Moscow Region, and down shawls, wraps and blankets made from goat down from the Orenburg Region.
Among the accessories are tapestry bags and cosmetic pouches with original prints from the Kaliningrad Region, leather bags from the city of Sevastopol in colours inspired by the Crimean landscape, and handmade leather bags from Saint Petersburg.
Also presented will be Karelian bags and cosmetic pouches with gold embroidery based on historical designs from museums, interior cushions, glasses cases and travel organisers with hand-applied gold embroidery, as well as more than five thousand items embroidered with gold and silver from the Tver Region.
Crafts, tableware and decor
Visitors will see painted storage boxes and wooden chip-carved birds from the Arkhangelsk Region, matryoshka dolls, Dymkovo toys and Vyatka willow baskets from the Kirov Region, and Yelets lace — table runners, tablecloths, napkins and collars — from the Lipetsk Region.
The Moscow Region will be widely represented with Dulevo porcelain, Zhostovo trays, Gzhel ceramics and Fedoskino lacquer boxes.
The Vladimir Region will offer visitors designer ceramics and natural handmade cosmetics, while the Tula Region will be represented not only by sweets but also by its famous samovars.
The exposition will also include porcelain tableware with original designs and cedar nut brittle from the Republic of Buryatia, crystal vases and decanters from the Bryansk Region, Khokhloma painting from the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and handmade carpets with floral ornaments on a black background from the Tyumen Region.
Moscow will be represented by ceramics — handmade wine glasses and plates inspired by Russian fairy tales. The stand will also feature high-strength porcelain from Bashkortostan, handmade footwear and leather mosaic crafted using the "Tatar stitch" technique, as well as traditional roly-poly dolls from the Tambov Region.
Cosmetics
The cosmetics section will present products based on pantogematogen derived from maral deer antlers from the Altai Territory, cosmetics from the Krasnodar Territory, and handmade cosmetics from the Karachayevo-Circassian Republic, made with coniferous and plant extracts, with no artificial fragrances or synthetic preservatives.
Exclusive collection
A separate part of the exposition will feature a clothing collection with quotations from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, including T-shirts, hoodies and baseball caps.
Representatives from 35 countries — including Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Azerbaijan — are expected to take part in the Trade Fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia". More than 11,000 visitors and over 500 exporting companies are anticipated, along with around 20 business programme events.
