Successes in supporting families with children over six years: National Achievement Forum at the RUSSIA EXPO
The RUSSIA
EXPO is hosting the National Achievements Forum: Social Policy for Childhood.
Guests of the plenary session were presented with the results and achievements
in the sphere of support for families with children over six years, as well as
the anthem of the Year of the Family.
"Social
policy in the interests of childhood is inextricably linked with the tasks to
support families, because it is in the family, in love and care that the
harmonious formation of the child's personality is ensured. By the decision of
the President, the year 2024 has been declared the Year of the Family in our
country. Preservation of population, increase in birth rate and formation of an
effective system of support for families are the main tasks set before us by
the head of state. And to solve them, we act together, joining the efforts of
federal and regional authorities, legislators and parental community,"
said Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
Deputy
Prime Minister addressed the topics of implementation of support measures,
ensuring socio-economic well-being of families with children, employment and
professional development, preservation of reproductive health, education,
modernization of children's infrastructure, culture and sports.
Among the
participants of the plenary session were Minister of Labor and Social
Protection of the Russian Federation Anton Kotyakov, Governor of the Lipetsk
region Igor Artamonov, Governor of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area Natalia
Komarova, Head of the Tambov region Maxim Egorov, Director General of the ANO
"Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects" Svetlana
Chupsheva and Chairman of the Council of Mothers, First Deputy Chairman of the
State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Paternity, Maternity and Childhood
Tatyana Butskaya.
Also on
this day, the Big Winter Children's Birthday will be held. More than 100
children will celebrate their birthday at the RUSSIA EXPO. The birthday
children from large families will be congratulated by Olga Batalina, First
Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Russia. The Choir of Moscow
large families, children's pop and choreographic groups will perform for the
children.
On this day, the pavilions of the RUSSIA EXPO organized excursions specially for young guests. Children visited the expositions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia "Made by us", the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia "Eat Our Own!", the partner of the pavilion "Smart Finance" of the Bank of Russia - VSK Insurance House, Sberbank of Russia "SBER".
The industry day is held as part of the National Achievements Forum, which will continue at the RUSSIA EXPO until February 27. Deputy Chairmen of the Russian Government and ministers present the results of the implementation of national projects and large-scale state programs during the thematic days.
Visitors to the National Centre RUSSIA can savor the southern cuisine of Crimea at the Gastronomic Rows.
The Day of Crimea’s Reunification with Russia is celebrated on March 18.
