Unique
educational events await visitors at the International RUSSIA EXPO. There will
be documentary film screenings, meetings with cosmonauts, concerts with
national music and much more. Here's what is worth visiting at the Exposition
on April 13.
Presentation
of Sakhalin festivals and airplane assembly masterclass
The stand
of the Sakhalin region will host a presentation of the "Archipelago
2024" project-educational intensive and the Wings of Sakhalin Festival of
Aviation and Music, which will be held on the peninsula. The presentation
program includes not only a story about the events, but also a unique
masterclass. Specialists will teach how to assemble model airplanes and talk
about the main principles of aerodynamics.

Guests of
the Exposition will be able to attend a unique lecture by Dmitry Petelin, a
test cosmonaut, where he will tell about his professional path, as well as
solemnly hand over the flag of the Volgograd region, which has been in space,
to the head of the Volgograd region representative office in Moscow to E. V.
Kucheryavenko.

visitors to the Exposition will be able to meet a cosmonaut and ask the most
exciting questions about flying. Sergei Kud-Sverchkov, test cosmonaut of the
Roscosmos detachment, Hero of the Russian Federation, will share his
professional experience and tell fascinating stories about space flights.

Competition
of throat singing masters and Sayano-Altai storytellers
At the
unique event, visitors will get acquainted with various styles of throat
singing of the peoples living in the Altai, Tuva and Khakassia Republics, as
well as with the heroic epic reflecting the centuries-old history of the
ancient peoples of Sayano-Altai, a picture of their life, struggle and poetic
art.

Presentation
of the documentary project "DK USSR. Excursion"
At the
presentation of the 13-episode documentary project of ANO "Territory of
Culture" and ROSIZO "DK USSR. Excursion" (DK meaning House of
Culture) a public talk about the cultural history of the Soviet period with the
curators of the exposition will be held, as well as a screening of the first
episode. Visitors will be able to plunge into the world of art of the Soviet
Union and learn a lot of useful things.

Birthday of
the All-Russian Student Project "Your Move"
As part of
the celebration of the birthday of the All-Russian Student Project "Your
Move" the participants of the event will tell how to realize their
intellectual potential in Russia, as well as conduct a series of developmental
masterclasses. The evening will end with a creative concert with the performance
of songs in a warm ambiance.

screening of the movie " Invisible Extinction", discussion with
scientists
The film
"Invisible Extinction" tells the story of two traveling microbiologists
who save endangered species of microbes. During the screening, visitors will
learn about the dangers of antibiotic abuse, Caesarean section surgeries and
eating processed foods, and hear the stories of patients whose illnesses are
caused by the death of microorganisms. The screening will be followed by a
discussion of the film with a guest expert.

Exposition
"My Heart is Full of Pity" dedicated to the anniversary of Alexei
German will allow you to see the "underside" of the world, which the
director built together with the crew of the film "Hard to be a God".
Exposition "Our People. The Universe of Leonid Gaidai's Characters"
is conceived and realized as a tour into the world of Gaidai's heroes. It
consists of several sections, each telling about "types" - characters
of the same type and social affiliation, who took different guises from film to
film, but invariably demonstrate their true essence, characteristic of Gaidai's
cinematography.
The Museum
of Cinema also offers to visit the "Labyrinth of History" exposition,
the memorial "Sergei Eisenstein's Study", the exposition “Oleg Yankovsky.
In Dream and in Reality”, dedicated to the actor’s anniversary, and other
bright exhibits related to the history of the national cinematography.
Exposition
"Between Light and Darkness" was opened on the 80th anniversary of
the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade. The exposition
highlights a number of film works that analyze the deep trauma of the whole
city and demonstrate that the spark of life, faith, courage and fortitude help
to preserve the human face even in inhuman conditions.

Farmers
Fair
Each region
has its own special flavor! Guests of the RUSSIA EXPO are invited to get
acquainted with the gastronomic culture of small villages and big cities of our
country at the Farmers Fair. Here you can taste and buy an incredible variety
of cheeses and dairy products, sausages and smoked meat delicacies, berry
drinks, juices, lemonades, fruit purees and jams, raw oils, freshly baked bread
and gingerbread.

Where: You can comfortably get to our Fair by shuttle No. K which departs from Pavilion No. 75, as well as from the "Northern Loop" stop at the arch of the Main Entrance to VDNH. Pavilion No. 48 is within walking distance from the "City Farm" stop.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 10 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
