An unusual record was set at the XII Adygean Cheese Festival, which took place in the Maikop district of Adygea, at the Dakhovskaya glade near the Una-Koz ridge.

The record was the number of participants who were simultaneously eating cheese — 254 people. As the organizers stressed, this was the first attempt to set such a record.

"One of the brightest events of the festival was the registration of the Russian record for the number of people eating Adygean cheese at the same time", — the press service of the regional government reports.

Production of cheese and cheese products in Adygea is successfully developing, reminded the head of the republic Murat Kumpilov, addressing the participants of the festival. He noted that just last year the output of such products increased by 20%, reaching 26 thousand tons.

Adygea is famous for its cheeses, they are sold all over Russia. The cheese festival is presented on a special platform "Achievements.RF".

There you can also get acquainted with the key successes of other regions. It should be noted that the project was part of the preparation for the International RUSSIA EXPO, which starts on November 4 in Moscow at the VDNH. At the exposition, all regions of the country will tell about their development and potential in the most important industries.
