Feeling of pride for your country: 30th anniversary of the Constitution at the RUSSIA EXPO

On the Day of the 30th Anniversary of the Constitution, the RUSSIA EXPO hosted an educational marathon of the Russian Society "Knowledge".

Andrey Klishas, Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building, elaborated on the history of amendments to the Constitution in 2020. According to him, the amendments were formulated following the complex work, in which the citizens of the country became fully involved - this was a firm decision of the President.

"The most memorable work is the work that evokes the greatest amount of emotions, a sense of pride for your country. For example, the introduction of amendments to the Constitution, which finalized Russia's reunification with Crimea and Sevastopol, was accompanied by a huge emotional power. Remember the slogan "Crimea is ours" - everyone has heard it. And I remember how after 2014 I came to Crimea and saw the slogan on huge posters with the Russian tricolor - "Russia is ours". This made a great impression on me - this is the true attitude of residents of Sevastopol and Crimea to what Russia means to them", — shared Andrey Klishas.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. During the whole period of the Exposition, guests are welcomed with cultural and entertainment events, a rich business and educational program. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. The International RUSSIA EXPO is held at VDNH in Moscow from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024.
