On June 12 at 19:00, the National Centre RUSSIA will host a concert dedicated to Russia Day. It is part of the All-Russian classical music marathon "Cantata.Russia." That evening, classical music from across the country will bring listeners together as a symbol of unity, spirituality and the richness of Russian culture.

The concert will begin with the performance of the National Anthem of the Russian Federation and a live broadcast from 12 regions participating in the marathon.

The State Symphony Orchestra "New Russia," led by Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Yuri Bashmet, will perform on stage. The programme includes works by Mikhail Glinka, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Alexander Borodin, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Sergei Prokofiev and Dmitri Shostakovich.

The audience will also enjoy performances by People's Artist of Russia and opera singer Ildar Abdrazakov, the A. A. Yurlov State Academic Choir of Russia, and mezzo-soprano Valeria Torunova.
