On December 6, a solemn award ceremony for the winners and laureates of the All-Russian competition of journalistic works in the field of education, "PRO Education — 2024," was held at the National Centre RUSSIA. In 2024, the competition received 4,000 applications from 89 regions of Russia.

"For over 20 years, the competition has brought together talented authors in the field of educational journalism from across the country. You cover pressing issues in education. Through your work, parents, teachers, and students learn about the achievements of Russian schoolchildren in international Olympiads, our best teachers, and much more. I thank all the participants for their dedication and responsibility, as well as the objectivity and depth of their materials. "This year, we added new categories. Among them is the 'Pushkin's Quill' in honor of the 225th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin. We also made sure to include authors who publish materials on education in the field of ecology, as this is one of the most pressing topics of today. I would also like to thank the National Centre RUSSIA for their help in organizing our ceremony. Furthermore, I would like to note that we are currently working on the preparation of the Education Development Strategy for the period up to 2036, with a perspective until 2040. We invite you, esteemed experts, to participate in its development," said Irina Shilkina.
