The formation of a positive image of the future for youth was discussed at the National Centre RUSSIA
As part of the "Day of the Future," the plenary session "Values and Ethics of the Future" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA. Participants discussed the relevant forms of dialogue between generations. Experts also examined tools for forming a positive image of the future among young audiences through the creation of media and film products. The organizers of the "Day of the Future" were the ANO "Centre for the Development of the Film Industry "Kirov Bulichev Film Studio" and the National Centre RUSSIA.
Member of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Yana Lantratova, emphasized the extraordinary importance of the "Day of the Future" for the entire country.
"Our parents grew up on fairy tales, they had heroes, everyone knew our cosmonauts. And then, the generation began to lose these heroes. We entered a new generation, where modern children have no heroes. So today, our esteemed experts from various fields will discuss the values and ethics of the future to construct a happy reality for the tomorrow of our country," said Yana Lantratova.
Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy in Education, Additional Education, and Children's Recreation of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Larisa Bebeshko, stressed that any education should be based on values. She also added that the Ministry of Education is working on organizing a unified educational space across the country, using various tools.
"We raise the state flag, tell about the main symbols of the country, and in every educational organization, the Russian anthem is sung. Every Monday, 'Conversations about Important Things' are held nationwide. We have several large programs, such as 'Eaglets of Russia,' which covers five million schoolchildren and aims to foster value orientations in them," said Larisa Bebeshko.
Lead Researcher at the Laboratory of Fundamental and Applied Research at the Institute for the Study of Childhood, Family, and Education, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Natalia Kaznacheeva, emphasized that an uncontrolled information process poses a significant threat in today's world. According to her, verbal culture has given way to audiovisual culture, and teachers and adults have practically stopped being authority figures for children and teenagers.
"It is very important for us to develop such technologies and methods of working with children that would contribute to the establishment of trusting, emotional relationships between the child and the adult. Therefore, our Institute of Education is conducting extensive work to create methodological materials for educators at all levels of education. A whole set of materials is being created for both parents and teachers to minimize risks," said Natalia Kaznacheeva.
The Centre's Deputy Director General, Anastasia Zvyagina, shared how the National Centre RUSSIA will work with children’s audiences.
"It is really important for a child to instill confidence — in themselves and in their homeland. And, of course, the country must assist in this. That is why our National Centre is also focused on children’s audiences. For example, we have an exposition telling about the future, past, and present. There is also an exposition from the Movement of the First, dedicated to the dream. It reminds us that if we overcome difficulties and achieve our goals, any dream can become a reality. In our country, we truly have all the opportunities for this. It is very important for children to have role models, and we invite everyone to cooperate in this direction," said Anastasia Zvyagina.
The plenary session was also attended by the editor-in-chief of the "KINOSPHERUM.RF" platform, Nikolai Tabashnikov, General Producer of the ANO "Centre for the Development of the Film Industry "Kir Bulychev Film Studio," Dmitry Belosokhov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Dmitry Polikanov, Ekaterina Lobacheva, President of X5 Group, and others.
The National Centre RUSSIA was established by order of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to preserve the legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO and to showcase the achievements of the country and its citizens on a permanent basis. Federal government bodies, state companies, corporations, and regions take part in the Centre’s work.
