On May 15, the modern educational and cultural venue "Space of Opportunities," intended for children and young people, opened at the National Centre RUSSIA. The official opening ceremony and a guided tour of the new space were attended by Sergei Novikov, Head of the Presidential Directorate for Social Projects of the Russian Federation; Grigory Gurov, Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh); Hero of Russia, participant of the "Time of Heroes" programme, and Chairman of the Board of the Movement of the First Artur Orlov; Deputy Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA Anastasia Zvyagina; and members of the Movement of the First.

"Congratulations to the Movement of the First and to all the young people of our country on the opening of the Space of Opportunities. Today, content is the main driving force of learning, development and entertainment for the youth. The entire life of the younger generation takes place in a space connected to content creation. We, the adults, say we need to communicate with young people in their own language, and here all the technical tools of that language are brought together in one place. I sincerely hope that at the National Centre RUSSIA, within the space of the Movement of the First, a great deal of educational and meaningful content will be created for social media: videos, photos, blogs and podcasts, radio and television formats," said Sergei Novikov.

"Space of Opportunities" is a modern cultural and educational venue focused on children and young people. Here, everyone can develop media literacy, digital culture, patriotism, and creative potential — through practice, new technologies, and inspiring communication.

"The National Centre RUSSIA was established by our President primarily for children, for young people, for our future. It is important that the Media House has opened precisely within our space. Every day, events dedicated to Russia and its achievements are held here: cultural, educational and youth-focused. And now young people will be able to create their own content from here. We thank our partners — Rosmolodezh, the Movement of the First, the Russian society Znanie, the presidential platform 'Russia – Land of Opportunity,' and the New Media Workshop — for making it possible to open such a unique location within our space," said Anastasia Zvyagina.

The creation of the venue was a joint effort by the country’s major public organisations: the Movement of the First, Rosmolodezh, the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity," the Russian society Znanie, and the National Centre RUSSIA.

"Today, at the National Centre RUSSIA, we are opening a unique space of opportunities for the development of children and young people in the field of media communications. It will become the true Media House of the Movement of the First. We have placed our information platforms here: 'Klassnoye Radio' and 'News of the First.' As part of the national project 'Youth and Children,' we will continue to develop the community of the nationwide project 'MediaAttraction,' which already includes over 120,000 participants. Thanks to the Media House venue, young people will be able to create content useful to the country and to society, and engage in media creativity using the most advanced technologies. We will help young journalists, photographers and videographers, directors and editors to broaden their horizons and acquire new skills and competencies. I am convinced that for many of them, the Media House of the Movement of the First will be an important step towards a professional future," emphasised Artur Orlov.

At the unique career guidance venue, young visitors of the National Centre RUSSIA will explore the diversity of media, learn to interact with it, develop their creative potential, and create content that benefits the country and its people.

"The National Centre RUSSIA brings together the very best, and today we are opening the 'Space of Opportunities' here. The President of Russia has set a priority — working with children and young people. This will be implemented here, where young people can come, try themselves in the media sphere, take their first steps in a profession, meet friends and mentors, and find a team. The 'Space of Opportunities' is the embodiment of realising a dream in Russia — the land of opportunity," said Grigory Gurov.

The state is doing everything to ensure that people from all corners of the country can realise their potential in various projects and areas of activity. The Movement of the First, the platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity," Rosmolodezh, the Russian society Znanie, and the presidential grants support proactive citizens in achieving new successes. This work is essential for the country's future and the fulfilment of our people's potential. The success of the country is the success of all its citizens. That is why we all have something to be proud of. The contribution of each person in their own place secures the victories of the Motherland in all areas and spheres.

A tour for honoured guests was conducted by activists of the Movement of the First from Moscow — Alexander Semyonov, Marianna Gekman, and Yegor Knyazev. These young people were selected for a reason: they are not only winners and prize-winners of All-Russian competitions but are also exploring media projects. For example, Marianna Gekman is the host of the "News of the First," the "First. Skills for Life" marathon, a participant in the project "Conversations About Important Things," and a first-degree laureate of the All-Russian contest "Russian School Spring."

"The heart of the Space of Opportunities is the 'Klassnoye Radio' studio. Here anyone can become a host, record podcasts, music shows, or even run video broadcasts. The 'Klassnoye Radio' studio is part of the unified professional television and radio complex of the Movement of the First, which also includes the 'News of the First' and the television studio. With the help of digital signals, all locations within our venue are connected into a single media network, allowing us to broadcast from any point in the Space. We have an editing room, a control room, a server room, a dressing room for guests of the 'News of the First' and the television studio, and a speaker room for the conference hall. All of this helps us create high-quality content to further delight our viewers and listeners," said Marianna.

The young guides also shared that in the historical context zone, visitors can learn about the outstanding achievements of our country and its heroes — from Alexander Popov and the crystal detector to Alexander Ovechkin and his record of 895 goals.

The 135-seat conference hall will serve as a venue for meetings, lectures, and masterclasses with renowned compatriots. The "New Media" zone will offer a comfortable environment for creating personal content and playing on a multimedia screen. In the AR photo zone, visitors will be able to take unique pictures and learn about social projects of youth organisations.

The XR studio will allow visitors to feel like actors or reporters, filming videos using extended reality technologies. A professional photo studio will provide the opportunity to experiment with lighting and composition.

"Today’s modern young people choose media as a key resource for learning, communication, self-expression, and entertainment. Media can become a magical crystal, reflecting good deeds many times over. And to avoid getting lost in this hall of mirrors, one needs a guide — someone who will lead through the maze, help avoid dangers, spot opportunities and make use of them. Here, everyone can become a hero and a creator of the content of the future, which we are building together in the Media House of the First," said Alexander Semyonov.

At the end of the tour, the children, together with other members of the Movement of the First, had a conversation with the honoured guests and asked them questions of interest.
