On 9 September, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted a meeting of student teams of the Voronezh region with the leaders of the Central Headquarters of the Russian Student Teams. The event was held as part of the Days of the Voronezh Region in the space of the National Centre RUSSIA.

The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen interaction and cooperation between movement representatives, exchange experiences, and discuss current issues and development prospects. Also the event participants coordinated joint actions and projects aimed at involving the region's students in socially significant initiatives.

"The region has created quite serious conditions for the organization’s development. There is a solid regulatory framework, a law on the student teams movement development, and the Coordinating Council for the development of the Student teams Movement under the government, which includes all actors directly interested in the development of the organization. These encompass the university community, executive authorities, legislative authorities, and representatives of public organizations," said Yaroslav Zubashchenko, head of the Central Headquarters of the All-Russian youth public organization "Russian Student Teams".

Denis Sabynin, Head of the Voronezh Regional Headquarters of the Russian Student Teams, noted that as of 1 September 2025, the number of students engaged in the student teams of the Voronezh regional branch is 4,735 people. Last year, five new headquarters were added to the organization.

"This means not only existence on paper, but also the actual creation of at least three linear student teams at new educational organizations. I am sure that in addition to the five already mentioned, another organization will be added, as we plan to conclude an agreement with the Voronezh branch of MEPhI, which now also has a large enough reserve to create not two, but three linear student teams," Denis Sabynin said.

He stressed that student  teams' work in the region is wide-ranged and being done professionally. This is not only about cooperation with educational organizations and employers, but about cooperation with other institutions. In 2025, 23 new cooperation agreements were signed, including those for which the federal support is provided, aimed at providing various kinds of assistance within the region, and facilitating the activities of student teams.

"It's worth noting that we also set a new record. This year, the Voronezh student teams have been working in 28 regions of our vast homeland. Two more countries can be added to them — the Republic of Turkey, and Egypt," Denis Sabynin emphasized.

After the official speeches, the meeting continued in a question-and-answer format. The participants were able to ask questions about how the leaders found their way to the student teams and what their families think about this activity, as well as share their initiatives to improve the work of the organization.

In addition, as part of the Days of the Voronezh region, a cooperation agreement was signed at the National Centre RUSSIA between the government of the region and the All-Russian youth public organization "Russian Student Teams". Its implementation will open up new opportunities for collaboration and the implementation of projects aimed at supporting youth and developing student initiatives. Also, Governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev awarded the most distinguished members of the student teams of the Voronezh region.
