On January 12, the National Centre RUSSIA will host an educational master class for participants of all ages titled "Paint Like Shishkin," as part of the educational project "Masterpieces. The Best of Russia." The project is organized by the National Centre RUSSIA in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and museums across the country.

In the first part of the event, Natalia Anyk, an art historian from the State Tretyakov Gallery and a lecturer at the "New Creative Workshops," will tell the audience about the life and work of the renowned Russian artist Ivan Shishkin. Following this, under the guidance of Yelizaveta Andriyaka, senior lecturer at the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts of Sergei Andriyaka, participants will paint a snow-covered pine inspired by Shishkin's famous painting "In the Wild North."

As part of the project "Masterpieces. The Best of Russia," the National Centre RUSSIA has already hosted master classes dedicated to the works of celebrated Russian artists Karl Bryullov and Viktor Vasnetsov.

Upcoming events promise to be just as engaging and educational for the entire family. The National Centre RUSSIA welcomes guests at 14 Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, Moscow, every day from 10:00 to 20:00, except Mondays.
