A strategic session "Northern Delivery: Reliable, Fast, Accessible" to be held at the National Centre RUSSIA
On December 3 — 4, 2024, the National Centre RUSSIA will host a strategic session titled "Northern Delivery: Reliable, Fast, Accessible." The event will bring together over 200 participants, including representatives from the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federal Assembly, FAS of Russia, Rosrezerv, Rospotrebnadzor, Rosatom, Sberbank, RZD, and regions of the Far East and the Arctic.
The Northern Delivery is a comprehensive initiative aimed at regularly supplying the Far North territories with essential goods: food, medicines, fuel, and other supplies. The new federal law "On Northern Delivery," effective from April 1, 2024, has established a unified legal framework for organizing this activity, ensuring uninterrupted supply to remote areas while also reducing delivery time and costs.
The strategic session will serve as a platform for discussing solutions for implementing a new approach to supplying hard-to-reach areas. Through roundtables and discussions, participants will explore key aspects such as planning and monitoring Northern Delivery, government support measures, price and tariff regulation, delivery logistics, and other topics.
The session’s key event will be the plenary meeting "Northern Delivery: Initial Results and Directions for Development," where initiatives and proposals formulated by participants will be reviewed.
The program and participation terms for the strategic session "Northern Delivery" are available on the event’s official website. Registration of the participants will remain open until November 28.
The session is organized by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, with ANO "IAC GKA" ("Information and Analytical Centre of the State Commission on the Arctic Development") as the operator. Media partners include the newspaper "Transport of Russia," media holding "RG-Media," the magazine "RZD-Partner," media group "PortNews" and the agencies SeaNews and EastRussia.
