A strategic session "Northern Delivery: Reliable, Fast, Affordable" will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA
From December 3 to 4, a strategic session titled "Northern Delivery: Reliable, Fast, Affordable" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA. The session is organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic, with support from Norilsk Nickel PJSC and the Rosatom State Corporation. More than 200 participants are expected to attend.
As a reminder, the Federal Law "On Northern Delivery" came into force on April 1, 2024. Prior to this, Russia did not have a unified legal framework defining the procedures for the interaction of participants in northern delivery, as well as their rights and responsibilities. The new law has become an effective tool for regular and uninterrupted supply to remote regions, as well as reducing the time and cost of cargo delivery.
On the first day of the event, four thematic round tables will be held in an open discussion format: "Northern Delivery Management System", "Northern Delivery Planning", "Northern Delivery Logistics", and "Mechanisms for Reducing the Cost of Northern Delivery." The event will be opened by the First Deputy Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic, Gadzhimagomed Guseinov, who will speak about the management system for northern delivery.
Experts for the first day’s sessions will include representatives from the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic, as well as relevant federal ministries and agencies. Best practices from Russian Federation subjects will be presented by delegates from the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Magadan region, Krasnoyarsk rrai, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra, and Chukotka Autonomous Area.
On the second day, the plenary session "Northern Delivery: First Results and Development Directions" will take place. The session will be attended by the authorities of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic, governors of the Far Eastern and Arctic regions, as well as the heads of the relevant committees of the State Duma and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
The program for the "Northern Delivery: Reliable, Fast, Affordable" session, along with participation conditions, has been published on the official event website. A live broadcast will be organized on the website during the session. Participant registration is available until November 28.
