A solemn ceremony summarizing the Year of the Family will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA
On December
26 at 16:00, the National Centre RUSSIA will host a solemn ceremony summarizing
the Year of the Family, titled "Year of the Family. Continuation."
The event will be held under the motto "Paths to the Future — with Love
Along the Way" and will gather over 1200 participants.
The
ceremony symbolizes the enduring value of family traditions and highlights the
continuation of initiatives from the Year of the Family into the future. The
speakers at the event include: Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation,
Chair of the Organizing Committee for the Year of the Family in Russia, Tatyana
Golikova, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation,
Anton Kotyakov, General Director of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization
"Russia — Land of Opportunity," Andrei Betin, and the Chairman of the
Board of the Russian Children and Youth Movement "Movement of the
First", Hero of the Russian Federation, Artur Orlov.
One of the
main events of the ceremony will be a meeting with families who, along with the
speakers, will decorate the New Year tree at the National Centre RUSSIA with
garlands and ornaments. The hosts of the event will be the family duo ST and
Assol.
As part of
the concert program, guests will be entertained by performers such as Polina
Gagarina, Tatyana Kartukova, Khibla Girzmawa, Irina Dubtsova, and other stars.
Among the participants of the ceremony are families who got married at the
RUSSIA EXPO, winners of the contest "It Runs in Our Family," families
of SMO participants, and labor dynasties from across the country.
Special
attention will be given to new families: on the same day, the National Centre
RUSSIA will host the first wedding ceremonies. Newlyweds will be congratulated
by couples who previously married at the RUSSIA EXPO and will pass on the flame
of the All-Russian Family Hearth "Heart of Russia" — a symbol of love
and fidelity, kindled at the Exposition and spreading across the country.
The
National Centre RUSSIA was established by order of the President of the Russian
Federation, Vladimir Putin, to preserve the legacy of the International RUSSIA
EXPO and to showcase the achievements of the country and its citizens on a
permanent basis. Federal government agencies, state companies, corporations,
and regions take part in the Centre’s work.
The
National Centre RUSSIA is located at 14 Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, Moscow.
The Centre is open from 10:00 to 20:00 every day except Monday.
