The Concluding Forum of Corporate Youth Council Leaders took place at the National Centre RUSSIA
On November 29, the venue hosted the Concluding Forum of
Corporate Youth Council Leaders, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of
collaboration between leading Russian companies and young professionals. The
event also sought to strengthen partnerships for implementing state youth
policy. The initiative was organized by Rosmolodezh.Career and the Mashuk
Knowledge Centre, with support from the National Centre RUSSIA.
The forum’s
final day began with a plenary session titled "Youth Councils 2025: Growth
Points in the Development of Corporate Community Management Systems."
Participants explored the future of youth councils and their role in shaping
corporate culture. They proposed new strategies to enhance youth
engagement in modern business environments.
Victoria
Khaba, Vice President for Organizational Development and HR at Aquarius Group,
spoke about the role of youth councils in corporate culture and involving young
specialists in management processes.
"Youth
has always driven innovation. Even if your suggestions seem impossible,
they spark new ideas in others. You ask challenging questions, creating a space
that pushes experienced professionals forward. Such processes are where careers
begin," Victoria Khaba noted.
She
emphasized the importance of proper interaction with young people: "We
bring experience and wisdom, while you bring energy and drive. It’s
essential not only to involve young talents but also to help them build
resources. You’re not the ones to be managed — you need guidance. Saying,
‘Let’s do this together,’ is the right form of collaboration."
The
discussion also focused on retaining young employees and attracting new talent.
Svetlana Zudina, Head of the Training and Development Department at
Polyus Gold Mining Company, highlighted the need for companies to consider
young professionals' opinions and interests for effective collaboration and
enterprise growth.
"The
world is changing rapidly. What we are developing today will be your
tools tomorrow. Therefore, it’s crucial to listen to your perspectives. You’re
full of energy, and it’s essential to channel it toward innovation,"
Svetlana Zudina said.
Denis
Fedotov from Rosseti PJSC and Alena Korneyeva from Transneft PJSC shared their
experiences in organizing youth initiatives within their companies. Alexandra
Yeremeyeva, Chair of the St. Petersburg Youth Council, offered insights into
the inner workings of a youth council.
Pavel
Verbnyak, a certified business coach and international speaker (GSF, EMBA,
CISSA), moderated the session.
Throughout
the day, youth leaders attended lectures, sessions, workshops, and
team-building activities. They discussed youth council standards,
effective communication, and strategies for developing personal and team growth
plans.
The
"Success Stories" presentation, where experts demonstrated how youth
councils transformed companies, attracted particular interest. The forum
concluded with an award ceremony for the best initiatives in youth policy.
