The "Day of the Future" is being held at the National Centre RUSSIA
On November 9, the "Day of the Future," dedicated to the revival of film production for schoochildren, is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA. At the opening press conference, new federal projects aimed at involving school students in the creation of media and film products were announced.
The organizers of the "Day of the Future " are the ANO "Centre for the Development of the Film Industry Kir Bulychev Film Studio" and the National Centre RUSSIA.
"The "Day of the Future" is a very important event for our entire country. This is an event where we discuss and construct Russia’s future in various directions. Today, our country is greatly lacking in the understanding of a future vision — not 20-30 years ahead, but even three to four years. And this primarily concerns the cultural and spiritual aspects of life," stated Nikolai Tabashnikov, editor-in-chief of the platform "KINOSFERUM.RF."
During the press conference, the federal educational and production film project "You’re in the Frame," created jointly with the ICC "Artek," was presented, as well as the flagship project of the Kir Bulychev Film Studio, the "Chronos National Heroes Film Universe."
"The "Day of the Future" is a platform where we, as filmmakers, can create national heroes, discuss new film universes, and present examples that the young generation will catch on. Over the past three years, we have been developing a domestic film universe called "Chronos." About 300 works by science fiction author Kir Bulychev have served as its inspiration," said Elbor Chernov, President of the ANO "Centre for the Development of the Film Industry Kir Bulychev Film Studio."
Dmitry Belosokhov, General Producer of the ANO "Centre for the Development of the Film Industry "Kir Bulychev Film Studio,"" explained how the universe of film heroes is created.
"We have a unique opportunity to communicate directly with children. We are one of the headliners of the Artek camp, and there, children tell us which heroes they want to see on screens. We also looked ahead and considered what the future might hold for our children. And we began moving in that direction. Everything started to come together — heroes, their intentions. Out of the depth of the heart, love for the child, and conversations with children, films are created," emphasized Elbor Chernov.
At the event, the first national platform for children and youth content, "KINOSFERUM.RF," was introduced. This platform is designed for generational dialogue among schoolchildren, their parents, and teachers. Here, teenagers are offered feature films and series, animation, educational and informational programs, music, and much more. All the content will be created by school students themselves under the guidance of expert mentors.
The CEO of the first national platform for children and youth content, "KINOSFERUM.RF," Nikolai Dubovoy noted that today’s schoolchildren will become the main economic force of the country tomorrow. This power depends on the values shaped among young people and on their interaction with older generations. The "KINOSFERUM.RF" platform is intended to make this process constructive and positive.
"The key task was to create a platform that would be interesting to a school-aged audience. This is a challenging age when children are sometimes not ready to discuss many topics with their parents or even within their peer groups. We hope that the 'KINOSFERUM.RF' platform will, to some extent, become their guide," emphasized Nikolai Dubovoy.
State Duma Deputy Yana Lantratova participated in the opening press conference. She highlighted key issues faced by modern youth and noted the state’s efforts to address them. Lantratova stressed that in the near future, legislative bills aimed at protecting youth from harmful content and ideas promoting false values are expected to be introduced.
As part of the opening of the "Day of the Future", strategic partnership agreements were signed between the National Centre RUSSIA and the ANO "Centre for the Development of the Film Industry Kir Bulychev Film Studio."
"The Kir Bulychev Film Studio has been with us since the first days of the National Centre’s opening, and this is very symbolic because our Centre opened with the Symposium "Inventing the Future", and the film studio is also about the future. After all, Kir Bulychev is one of the most renowned science fiction writers. Today, the National Centre is hosting the premiere screening of the film "Mom", and I highly recommend everyone to watch it. Besides being beautifully made, it teaches kindness, timeless values, and the most important thing — a sincere, genuine attitude towards one’s parents," noted Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA.
The agreements are aimed at addressing current challenges in preserving traditional moral values, fostering a positive vision of the future among schoochildren, and spreading knowledge about the country’s history, its heroes, and achievements. This cooperation will support the creation of large-scale media and film projects for a teenage audience.
The National Centre RUSSIA was established by order of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to preserve the legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO and to showcase the achievements of the country and its citizens on a permanent basis. Federal government bodies, state companies, corporations, and regions take part in the Centre’s work.
The first event at the National Centre RUSSIA was the International Symposium "Inventing the Future," which welcomed more than 6,000 guests from 101 countries.
The National Centre RUSSIA is located at 14 Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, Moscow.
