"School Students Forum" launched at the National Centre RUSSIA
The leading universities of the Far East will present the best educational practices and advantages of the region. The "School Students Forum", dedicated to career and education, was launched at the National Centre RUSSIA on 6 November. The programme also includes presentations on the Far East’s tourism potential and career opportunities with an interactive thematic exposition organised as part of the "Days of the Far Eastern Regions in Moscow".
The key goal of the Forum is to introduce senior school students to the best universities and colleges of the Far East and attract talented young people from across the country to the region.
The interactive exposition about the Far East showcases unique opportunities for travel, study, work and life created with government support in this macro-region. It includes several interactive zones and art objects combined into an engaging route that visitors can explore independently or accompanied by a guide.
Special attention is given to patriotic education. The exposition tells the stories of heroes from the Far East, the work of the Voin (Warrior) Centre for Military and Sports Training and Patriotic Education, and the volunteer movement.
"Thanks to such educational and exposition projects implemented at the National Centre RUSSIA, the Far East becomes closer. Today, new enterprises are being established in the Far Eastern regions, cities are being renewed, and entrepreneurs enjoy the best conditions for starting a business. It is important that as many people as possible learn about the unique opportunities for self-realisation created in the Far East with government support. It is particularly valuable that school students themselves act as tour guides. Many of them have already visited the Far East and are ready to share their sincere memories and impressions," said Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexei Chekunkov during his tour of the exposition.
Forum participants will discover unique opportunities not only for education and employment but also for self-development and travel. The Far East is one of the most fascinating destinations for tourism in Russia.
The Forum focuses on providing information, helping young people plan their life paths, and developing professional skills. Participants will learn about all social programmes and benefits for those relocating to the region, industrial projects being implemented, and educational opportunities, and will receive the necessary consultations. All information will be presented in an engaging and accessible way, tailored to the age of the Forum’s participants.
"Information is absorbed best when delivered in a light, even playful manner. Visitors, especially young people, will genuinely be inspired to study, work and travel in the Far East. Any format that helps people connect with the Far East is extremely valuable. I am sure that after getting acquainted with the content presented at the National Centre RUSSIA, many will decide to come to the Far East," added Alexei Chekunkov.
The "School Students Forum" is an annual in-person event for senior school students, held in Moscow for the third time. This year, around 1,500 people are expected to take part in the Forum.
The exposition "Days of the Far Eastern Regions in Moscow" will be open to visitors from 1 to 30 November 2025 daily, except Monday (maintenance day). Entry to the exposition is via the western entrance of the National Centre RUSSIA at, 14 Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, building 18, Moscow.
