Final day of the educational programme "Fundamentals of Russian Statehood" was held at the National Centre RUSSIA
On 17 February, the final day of the educational programme "Fundamentals of Russian Statehood" for employees of major Russian companies took place at the National Centre RUSSIA. The event was held with the support of the People's Front. It is aimed at improving the effectiveness of socio-political work in the corporate sector as part of preparations for the 2026 election campaign.
The event took the form of a plenary discussion, featuring speeches from representatives of high-level state authorities and the expert community. The final day addressed issues of interaction between business and the state, as well as the role of the corporate sector in ensuring transparency and legitimacy in electoral processes.
"The United Russia party gathers all citizens' requests and turns them into concrete solutions. All of this is reflected in the leading pre-election document – the 'People's Programme'. During the pandemic, the party provided volunteer assistance, helped deliver food to those who could not do so themselves, and cared for the elderly. It was then that the very instrument of volunteering and charitable work, which today essentially holds our country together, was formed. From the first days of the special military operation, the party launched its humanitarian mission, which united those wishing to help the front, and ensured the creation of a unified system of social support for the military men and their families. Since 2022, 154 special laws have been passed concerning participants of the special military operation. This is an extremely important, I would even say unprecedented, development in our country. The implementation of the current people's programme is practically complete. For United Russia, the most important part of the election campaign will be a detailed report on the fulfilment of the people's programme; on how the party has implemented the national priorities set by President of our country; and on how life is changing in all our cities and rural areas," reported Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the United Russia party.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, outlined the directions underlying the course towards technological leadership.
"First of all, this concerns machine tool manufacturing, whose technological status determines the potential of the manufacturing industry. Since 2022, our companies have almost tripled their output of machine tools. They have also mastered the production of high-class machining centres. Currently, the Register of Russian Industrial Products contains over 1,150 types of machine tools. Their use allows for the systematic renewal of enterprises' fixed assets. Here, domestically produced industrial robots are also extremely important. Today, they are manufactured by 11 Russian companies, which have brought the same number of models to market. And around ten more prototypes are undergoing final testing," noted Denis Manturov.
Other areas mentioned by Denis Manturov include the development of chemistry and biotechnologies, microelectronics and electronic engineering, as well as the space services sector. Special attention must be paid to training highly qualified personnel, bridging the gap between fundamental and applied science, and ensuring the balanced development of industry in all subjects of the Russian Federation.
"There is much to be proud of in the platform solutions of the Russian economy. Our digital trading companies are among the world's top ten largest marketplaces; these platforms are expanding beyond our country, entering Africa and Asia. Thanks to their activities, new countries are becoming part of the Russian platform ecosystem. Yandex company is already global in nature, operating in 35 countries. There, it competes with market giants, offering up-to-date, competitive Russian solutions. Russia is one of three countries, alongside the USA and China, to possess full sovereignty over solutions in the sphere of the internet, social networks, and messengers. But our country is distinguished by its readiness to share its solutions in a partnership-based manner," emphasised Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation.
"Over the past decade, we have managed to create a stable system – a community of election commissions, a unique public-state institution. Our commissions represent a complete cross-section of society, featuring representatives of various political parties. The electoral system is stable, yet at the same time dynamic and creative, despite the unprecedented challenges we have had to face," added Ella Pamfilova, Chairperson of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.
"More than 1,500 persons, at the initiative of the
People's Front, have undergone training at the Presidential Academy under the
'Fundamentals of Russian Statehood' programme. The participants demonstrated a
high level of preparation in the final test and formulated a wide range of
questions for today's discussion. One of the most frequently raised topics was
the external restrictions and sanctions pressure, under which domestic industry
managed not only to significantly increase output for the needs of the defence
complex, but also to maintain development momentum in civilian sectors,"
noted Alexei Komissarov, Co-Chairman of the
Central headquarters of the People's
Front, and Rector of the Presidential Academy.
During the plenary session, Sergei Chemezov, Director General of the State Corporation Rostec, noted the value of such meetings for business, adding that this is why Rostec promptly responded to the initiative of the People's Front and the Presidential Academy. According to him, 250 employees of 18 holdings and organisations of the corporation completed the educational programme.
"The course proved to be very useful and substantive: we analysed the historical context, cultural aspects, and their impact on the economy, politics, and society. The lessons on strategic planning, working with teams, and effective communication were particularly valuable. We thank the People's Front and the Presidential Academy, and we would be happy to participate again," shared his impressions Kirill Perov, Project Manager at the Department for Interaction with State Authorities and Public Relations of JSC USC (the United Shipbuilding Corporation).
"Today's discussion allowed us to get answers from the country's top officials – the answers which are at the forefront of defending our constitutional values in world politics," shared Alexander Ivanov, an event participant.
The total number of participants exceeded 1,500 people from 88 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, including the capital region, industrial centres, and new subjects of the Russian Federation. The corporate training programme was attended by 47 of the largest Russian companies from key economic sectors, such as Transneft, Gazprom, Rostec, Rosseti, Russian Railways, and others.
On 21 February, at 17:00, the opening ceremony of the "RT.Doc: The Time of Our Heroes" festival will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The attendees will focus on love for the Motherland, courage, and fortitude embodied in books.
Maria Stepanova, a participant in the "Young Tour Guides School of Russia" project, invited everyone to the "Book of Fairy Tales" exposition.
