Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova took part in the plenary session with the heads of executive authorities in the field of culture, dedicated to the implementation of the federal project "Pushkin Card".

The head of the Ministry of Culture of Russia noted the demand for the program: 10.4 million people received the Pushkin Card, which is 74% of the total number of citizens of the Russian Federation aged 14 to 22 years.

"Today, 11.8 thousand cultural organizations of various forms of ownership participate in the program, which have already sold 69.6 million tickets for a total of 33.7 billion rubles," said Olga Lyubimova.

The greatest interest among the target audience is cinema: 27.4 million tickets were purchased by young people for screenings of national films. The second place by the number of tickets sold is taken by theater performances - 13 million tickets. The third place is shared by museum expositions and events organized by palaces of culture and clubs.

The Russian Ministry of Culture conducted an analysis of the Pushkin Card implementation from 2021 to 2023, on the basis of which a new version of the program rules was prepared and approved. It streamlines a number of issues of interaction between its participants, increases the requirements for cultural organizations to access the project, and also contains a number of tools to prevent misuse of budget funds allocated for the program.

Speaking about the assessment of the quality of the regions' work under the program, the minister listed the leaders in terms of the share of issued cards from the region's potential. They were Chuvash Republic (99.8%), Orenburg region (95.9%), Republic of Tatarstan (94.9%), Nizhny Novgorod region (93.3%), Kostroma region (93.1%), Republic of Udmurtia (91.8%), Arkhangelsk region (91.7%), Tula region (91%), Republic of Mordovia (90.7%), Penza region (90.5%).

In terms of the number of topical events in the program per 1000 people of the target audience the leaders are the Belgorod region, Arkhangelsk region, Magadan region, Udmurt Republic, Khabarovsk region, Republic of Tatarstan, Nizhny Novgorod region, Sakhalin region, Novgorod region, Kurgan region.

At the meeting, Sofia Malyavina, Director General of the ANO "National Priorities", spoke about the information support of the "Pushkin Card".

"More than 85% of Russians know about the 'Pushkin Card', this figure is even higher among young people - 95%. Even before the start of the program in August 2021, young people talked about the lack of funds for "cultural life". After the 'Pushkin Card' has been introduced, everyone has the opportunity to diversify their leisure time. Young people regularly go to expositions, museums, cinemas, and more often visit theaters. Now every fourth Russian, according to statistics, can be called a theatergoer," she said.

Oleg Kachanov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, made a report on the new requirements for cultural organizations to interact with the register of information on tickets sold. Maxim Tadevosyan, Vice President for Business Development and Strategy at VK, spoke about VK's role in promoting "Pushkin Card" and ensuring the security of the program. Oksana Konysheva, Head of the Rosatom "Cultural Territory" program, noted new opportunities for promoting creative projects.
