The awarding of the winners of the national contest “Brand of the Year. Teachers' Choice - 2024” was held at the VDNH in the "Made by Us" pavilion of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, which operates within the framework of the International RUSSIA EXPO.

On June 11, based on the results of voting by 300 thousand Russian educators and teachers, the most popular brands of educational equipment and teaching aids for kindergartens, schools and organizations of additional education were determined.

The winners of the national contest “Brand of the Year. Teachers' Choice - 2024” took place at VDNH in the pavilion of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia "Made by us", working within the framework of the International RUSSIA EXPO.

"The competition among manufacturers of educational equipment is an effective tool for the development of this industry. It is very important that it is held among domestic manufacturers who feel more and more confident in the market every year. We will continue to support and develop such projects," said Vera Khmyrova, Director of the Department of Light Industry and Timber Complex of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

The organizers of the competition aimed to identify the most successful and popular brands of educational equipment and teaching aids among government customers and the teaching community.

"The contest in this format was held for the first time. Today the educational equipment industry has set itself the task of maximum assistance to the Russian education system in ensuring its sovereignty. The importance of educational infrastructure and learning tools is beyond doubt. Parents in their requests speak about the need to use modern educational technologies. At the same time, every fifth teacher is experiencing a shortage of modern equipment, and about 8% face the problem of its quality, despite the fact that for many years the priority was given to imported equipment,” explained Irina Yegorova, President of the National Union of Enterprises in the Educational Equipment and Teaching Aids Industry and Suppliers of Educational Organizations, at the award ceremony.

Belarusian-Russian company Polesie was recognized the best brand in preschool education. In school education, the brands Leo and Robotrek were recognized as the best, each receiving the same number of points. In supplementary education, the company BiTronics was awarded. The winners received commemorative prizes and the distinction "Brand of the Year. Teachers' Choice — 2024".

To determine the best brands, the organizers carried out considerable analytical work. The selection was based on such criteria as recognizability, experience of use in practice, readiness to recommend the brand's products to colleagues, the importance of attributes and characteristics when choosing and many others.

The contest was organized by the National Union of Enterprises in the Educational Equipment and Teaching Aids Industry and Suppliers of Educational Organizations, the Association of Artindustry Market Participants, the National Methodological Council for Technological Education, the ANO “Russia - Land of Opportunity” and the Moscow International Education Salon.

The competition was attended by manufacturers, distributors and suppliers of educational equipment and teaching aids, including digital educational resources.
