Tour guides for the RUSSIA EXPO were trained in Pyatigorsk
Two thousand professional guides for the International RUSSIA EXPO were prepared at the tourist rally "More than a Trip".
The event took place in the Knowledge center "Mashuk" in Pyatigorsk. The participants underwent intensive training and in just a few days were ready to work as guides at the RUSSIA EXPO.
The training program included lectures and master classes developed with the support of the Russian society "Knowledge". Professional tour guides and museum staff, as well as students and bloggers played the role of apprentices.
"Tour guides will lead everyone along six thematic routes: "Art", "Society", "Technology", "Energy", "Ecology", "Professions", so that each visitor of the exposition could choose the most interesting topic", — said the head of the excursion circuit of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» Pelageya Sterligova.
The master classes were held by well-known public figures of Russia. Among them — the author of the exposition V.D.N.H. Urban Phenomenon at the XV Architecture Biennale in Venice Pavel Nefedov, founder of the project "Moscow through the eyes of an engineer" Airat Bagautdinov, historian of art and architecture Tatyana Denisova, guide of educational projects Arseny Aredov.
