Agrarians note that the volume of reaping has reached record figures - in the Central Non-Black Earth Region 158 centners per hectare were harvested.

But the new wheat has other advantages besides yield. It is good resistance to low air temperatures, unfavorable soil qualities and major phytopathogens. In addition, the cereals are high in gluten and protein.

The developments are especially important given that winter wheat is now the main cereal crop for the central part of the country. This is of great importance for food stability.

It should be noted that our country is a record-breaker in terms of grain harvest. Russia is also the world's largest supplier of grain. Last year alone, Russia harvested more than 150 million tons of grain. Such figures are made possible with the help of modern technologies: systems for monitoring the condition of fields, fertilizer distribution, and new machinery, including unmanned harvesters.

Grants, subsidies and other types of support are available to agribusinesses in Russia. Sowing areas are being actively expanded, bringing agricultural land back into turnover.

Grain production is presented on the online platform "Achievements.RF", where it can be voted for. A rating will be compiled based on the voting results. The project was launched in preparation for the International RUSSIA EXPO where the successes of different regions, departments and corporations of the country will be presented.
