As visitors finish their tour of the Hall of Inventions at the National Centre RUSSIA, they inevitably notice the intriguing empty pedestal located at the exit.

This does not imply that the final piece is missing or under restoration. The installation's purpose is to convey that every guest of the National Centre can leave their mark on human history by learning to dream and resolutely pursuing their goals, as many generations of great scientists, artists, and inventors have done.

The empty pedestal symbolizes numerous bright ideas that are just beginning to form in minds today but will become reality in the near future. Stories of new important inventions will appear on the empty wall next to the pedestal. Additionally, there is a tradition among the guides at the National Centre that if you place your hand on the pedestal and make a wish, it is sure to come true.

Free tours of the National Centre RUSSIA start every 15 minutes from the main information desk. We welcome guests every day except Monday, from 10:00 to 20:00.
