Get inspired by the victories of champions and pass GTO standards: interesting things that await the participants of the Olympic route
The
International RUSSIA EXPO has a unique excursion for sports fans. You can not
only see the awards of legendary champions, but also try yourself in various
disciplines. And also learn a lot of interesting things about the development
of sports in our country.
If you are
inspired by sports achievements, then be sure to come to the Olympic route.
Like other excursions, it will start with a sightseeing of an interactive map
of Russia, stylized as a canvas with national patterns embroidered on it. This
is the first attraction that greets the guests of the exposition at the
entrance. At the same time the guide tells about the famous sculptures of VDNH
"Tractor Driver and Kolkhoz Woman" and "Worker and Kolkhoz
Woman".
Next,
guests will be able to pass through the famous collider and see the exposition
"Achievements of Russia", as well as a beautiful alley of blue spruce
trees decorated in the national style of different regions of the country.
And the
main attraction of the route, of course, is the Alley of Glory, dedicated to
famous athletes and their achievements. It is gratifying that each champion
gave their awards for exposition. Medals and cups are kept behind special
bulletproof glass, so you don't have to worry about the safety of sports
relics. The whole alley is divided into several thematic sections.
"Now
we will see an exposition devoted to air sports. These are some of the most
difficult disciplines that require professional training and health like that
of cosmonauts. And here you should definitely pay attention to Svetlana
Kapanina," emphasizes the guide Tatyana Kutuzova.
Svetlana is
indeed a legendary pilot: 7-time absolute world champion, 2-time absolute
champion of the World Air Games, 4-time absolute champion of Europe.
"It's
nice that our athletes win both on water, on land and in the air," the
tour guide concluded.
In
addition, the Olympic route includes a visit to Pavilion No. 75, where the
achievements of the regions are presented. Here you can learn about the
"Games of the Future" project, which combines sports and cyber
technologies, drive cars, play air hockey and virtual basketball, test the
strength of your punch with a special punching bag.
"This
part of the tour is especially loved by the young guests of the exposition.
There are always a lot of interactive entertainment and active sports games at
the stands of the regions, in which children are happy to participate,"
explained Tatyana Kutuzova.
The route
ends at the exposition of the Ministry of Sport. Here you can try your hand at
Olympic sports, as well as pass the GTO standards.
Guests of the RUSSIA EXPO can also enjoy other thematic excursions absolutely free of charge. For example, the "Art Trail" for lovers of architecture and art or "VDNH Stories" for those who love to take pictures.
